Letters between Adelaide and other correspondents, which were presumably acquired by Louise after Adelaide's death, are also included here. The section is arranged broadly chronologically and includes a substantial cache of letters written to Louise by Adelaide from Paris during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71 and the Siege of Paris.
